Caribbean Cooking

In preparation for the FOPH International Food Afternoon, Bats had a cooking session.

After learning about some Jamaican favourites from a poem by Jamaican poet Valerie Bloom, we decided to have a go at cooking them.

In small groups we made a Caribbean feast of coconut drops, grater cake from Jamaica and mango and pineapple chow from Trinidad and Tobago.

 

We really enjoyed cooking them and they tasted delicious. We hope the parents also enjoy them.
