Friendship bands in RR

In Reception we always talk about using ‘kind mouths’ and ‘kind hands’ to solve problems. In the words of our children we use kind hands to, “help people when they fall or are hurt, to share, to tidy things and to put the lids on pens!” We use our kind mouths to, “say nice things, to be friends,┬áto always say please and thank you and to be nice to people.”

As part of our Anti-Bullying week work we made friendship bands for ourselves and for others and wrote ‘kind hands and kind mouths’ on them to help us remember to always use them. What a friendly bunch we are!
