Reception came up with a fantastic idea as part of our water, water everywhere topic. We are planning to wash all of the cars in the car park! This has meant some wonderful opportunities for writing and maths. We’ve written to Robin to ask for permission, to Rita to ask for much needed funds for the items on our shopping lists, asked the teachers if we can do it, written job application forms to be part of the washing team, listed what we will need and considered the properties of each material, calculated how much the materials we need will cost and have been shopping for the materials at a local shop. Next, we plan how to wash a car and then it’s time to get soapy!
