Year 1 have been programming BeeBots, robots which move around based on the instructions we give them.

The children created wrote algorithms on whiteboards, used the inputs (buttons) to program the BeeBots and then watched them (move) towards their destination. They broke the algorithm (instructions) into parts to make it easier, but also combined instructions to make the event happen quicker.
