Year 2 have been visiting a royal palace this week! We got the bus all the way to Hyde Park and had a lovely stroll past swans before we arrived at Kensington Palace. We had a lovely time exploring the place where Queen Victoria grew up! We saw the room she was born in and the cradle she slept in.

In the afternoon we had a drama workshop. We explored the Palace with a lady-in-waiting who told us stories about people who had lived there over the years. She was particularly impressed with how good we were at describing the rooms – and that we already knew what tapestries were!
