The Summer Term got off to a very musical start for year 4 with a trip to the CLC! We used a programme called Logic Pro X to compose our own pieces of music. As the name suggests, Logic Pro is used by professional musicians to produce and compose music. It’s a highly complex programme with an endless, bewildering array of instruments and functions, but this didn’t stop year 4! They listened carefully to teacher/musician Rod and followed instructions brilliantly, which meant they were able to get to grips with the programme in just one short day. Although they all started with the same drum beat, each child’s final composition was unique and magnificent in its own way! Year 4 is clearly full of budding music producers!
