Year 2 ended the half term with a day filled with shapes! In 2B, this climaxed with an exciting visit from The Swamp Monster who stole all our 3D shapes! Our challenge was to try and get them back  before The Swamp Monster ate them all. She agreed we could win back each shape if we could guess what she had. She let us ask questions about the features of the shape in order to guess. Luckily we won back almost all of them, though she did manage to escape with a Tetrahedron.

We enjoyed the swamp monster challenge so much, we took it in turns to pretend to be mini swamp-monsters. Our partners had to quiz us on the features of the shapes we had hidden underneath a cloth. We had lots of fun!
