Thanks to the thoughtfulness of Asha, one of our pupils, we had 5 wriggling caterpillars delivered to Reception. We had the pleasure of watching them change from caterpillars into the most beautiful Painted Lady butterflies! At one point we thought one of the chrysalis’ wasn’t going to survive but we were over the moon to see all 5 emerge as butterflies. Over the course of the last academic year every single child in Reception has grown, developed and emerged with new skills, abilities and talents, just like the caterpillars have. What a wonderful way to end the year!
