Blackbirds spent Curiosity Week exploring the theme of ‘Flight’. We learnt about the science of flight and then designed and tested our own paper aeroplanes to see how we could make them fly further. In English, we read the story ‘FArTHER’ by Grahame Baker-Smith which is all about a man who dreams of flying. We made collages representing how it would feel like to fly and experimented with watercolours to create beautiful, brightly-coloured sky scenes. What a busy week!
