For Curiosity Week, Beetles learned about France and Paris. We learned French greetings, counting and saying how we are. In English, we looked at the story of A Lion in Paris and wrote postcards from the lion, as well as creating a Paris landmark factfile. We loved learning about the artists Seurat and Matisse and created a painting and cut out in their style. French cheese was not so popular, but we enjoyed the experience of the tasting! Sadly we could not go to Paris this time, but we enjoyed making passports and boarding passes to fly in the class plane and finding the monuments on Google Earth. Lego and straws were also used to create different landmarks in a construction challenge. What a busy and fun week we have had!
