Cherry blossom tree, how beautiful are thee!

To complement our geography focus of Asia, we learnt about the Japanese poetic form of a tanka. It is a poem commonly written by two lovers that consists of a 3 line haiku (5-7-5 syllables) with an additional two lines of (7-7 syllables).

We used the sounds of calming Japanese music as a stimulus, paired with the imagery of Japanese cherry blossom trees.
