Over this last week, Year 6 have written a descriptive piece of writing, using images as their inspiration. First, a range of descrptive extracts were read so we were able to ascertain what type of language and writing devices has the greatest impact. We then used these ideas to draft, edit and publish our own descriptions. Here is some of our work:
