In year 4, we’ve been learning all about the wonder that is our digestive system! We began the topic with a rather revolting simulation of the process that food goes through through your body, all the way from going into your mouth to…coming out the other end! This memorable experience helped us when researching the main digestive organs further and writing explanation texts to describe the process. We are now all experts in the digestive system, although some of the children are still feeling a bit queasy after the simulation experience – see the pictures below to find out why!!
