Froglets hop along to the garden centre

The Froglets made the most of a beautiful bit of weather and walked along the canal to the Camden garden Centre. They were magnificent! On the way there we saw some goslings, a diving cormorant and some Coot chicks. We noticed the bridges were each numbered and we travelled from bridge 16 to bridge 28! Once at the garden centre, the children had to go on a treasure hunt, finding all items on a list of objects. We then met Peter, the garden centre director who talked to us about seeds and then kindly gave us some strawberry plants to grow at school. The children are now FULL of ideas of how to turn part of our learning environment into a garden centre of our own. Watch this space!
