Ladybirds have been busy planting and growing.

During the last half term, Ladybirds explored their topic of plants and growth. We read the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and planted out our very own magic beans and watched them grow. We enjoyed a visit to Morrisons to buy fruit and vegetable seeds, which we later planted and have already started to see them  grow in our very own vegetable patch – I even spotted one strawberry on the strawberry plant! The children have been very busy watering and watching what is happening in the planters and their pots and recording their findings in their diaries. We visited our very own school garden and noticed that they have  a lot of the same things growing there. And we even introduced ourselves to the chickens and investigated the pond. The children have enjoyed a very busy half term.
