Year 2 have been working with Alice in the art room for a number of weeks on a project based on Royal jewellry, in particular that of Queen Elizabeth I. As part of the project they made themselves into Kings and Queens by collaging images of crowns and jewels over a portrait of themselves. They had to consider scale and positioning so that they could create the illusion. These brilliant collages will be printed in miniture and be included in the pendants they are making.
