Year 5 and 6 children started Science Week with a bang with an afterschool workshop at UCS Hampstead. Dressed in lab coats and equipped with safety goggles, the children used bunsen burners to discover how fireworks are made! Proving to be real Science experts, the children were quick to see the patterns when drawing the chemical formulae for their discoveries. Everyone had a brilliant time and we’d like to say a big thank you to UCS for inviting us to visit.
