Nursery have been working very hard to give their classroom a spring makeover! Our topic is called ‘up in the air’ and so our learning so far this term has been based on the weather and the sky. This led to us creating some incredible backing paper for our small world area, using the children’s own ideas. The whole class were involved in making their very own rainbow too. This involved hand painting and printing, cutting out the hands themselves, creating a ‘toy rainbow’ using class resources, sticking the painty hands on the rainbow, counting how many of each we used and then going around the school on a rainbow colour hunt!
