Word detectives: Search for words with “-ough-”,
“-ought-” in them. How many can you find? Make a chart in your book of the two lists.
Story: Write the story of the Highwayman.
What can you find out about real highwaymen who lived in the 18th Century? Were there any Highwaywomen?
