Year 1 have partnered with Year 6 for our buddy reading sessions andwe decided to play some drama games to make sure we all felt relaxed with our new partners.

First we had to interview our partners and were challenged to think of the most unusual questions to make sure we found out the most interesting facts. Then we had to present them to our friends as if we were introducing an exciting celebrity!

Next we worked with our partners to make amazing shapes with our bodies. We all worked so well together and our first actual reading session allowed us to really enjoy and talk about the stories we were reading.
