Year 2 have had their first RE day of the year this week and we have been starting to learn all about our focus religion, Sikhism. We started by learning about the values that Sikh’s follow in their lives and comparing them to our own personal values. We also created our own langar plates. Finally, we learnt all about the Gurus who spread the message of God to the Sikhs and created our own special flap books all about the different Gurus. You can see them on display in our classrooms or in our floorbooks. We had a very busy day and we’re looking forward to learning more on our next RE day!
