This half term we have been focusing on the story of ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ Michael Rosen. We received a letter from ‘the family’ in the story asking for our help. We of course said yes! So the children went out into the playground, repeating the story and looked for the bears. We found 5 bears hiding in different places! The children worked really well as a team to help each other work out which way to go. Fantastic ‘hunting’! We also made our very own books by innovating the story to create new ‘hunts’. We went on a ‘rainbow hunt’, a ‘tiger hunt’ and even a ‘unicorn hunt’! The children made their very own binoculars to help them look even more closely! We will definitely go on a bear hunt again…
