Y6 have been investigating light. They have observed beams of light and how they behave, using mirrors and card with apertures (holes) in them. During their observations, they have noticed that light can be directed around corners – using mirrors – and that light reflects in symmetrical angles. Now they are using their learning to understand how periscopes work, and using their Design Technology skills to construct periscopes.
