Do you know what’s inside a flower? In Year 3, that’s the question we’ve been exploring. As part of our Science topic on Plants, we have been learning about all of the parts of a flower. To see the parts for ourselves, we dissected tulips. We learnt what each part of the flower is called and what the functions are. Then we presented our learning carefully so others can learn from us. We had to be very gentle and careful as we dissected the flowers, just like real scientists, because they are very small and delicate.
